Public Transit

Many guests of the Alberta Place Suite Hotel utilize the City’s excellent public transit system which has several stops just steps from our entrance. One popular bus route is the express bus to West Edmonton Mall. Edmonton’s Light Rail Transit system stops at well-known destinations such as:

• The University of Alberta Campus– featuring the world-class post secondary institution and a short walk to the University of Alberta Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
  
• Northlands / Rexall Place – host of over 2,500 events per year and ranked among the top ten concert venues on Earth. Rexall Place is the home of the Edmonton Oilers hockey team and the Canadian Finals Rodeo.
  
• Edmonton EXPO Centre – located on the Northlands grounds, the Edmonton EXPO Centre is the site of many large trade shows and conventions.
  
• Commonwealth Stadium – home of the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League and other local sports teams.
  
• Southgate Centre – serving Edmonton for over 40 years, Southgate Centre stands for premier fashion and sophistication in Edmonton, with over 165 exciting stores and services.
